Globus Medical Reports the US FDA’s Clearance of ExcelsiusFlex and ACTIFY 3D Total Knee Systems

- The US FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to ExcelsiusFlex with Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) application and ACTIFY 3D Total Knee System to be paired with ExcelsiusFlex, enabling surgical control, accuracy & flexibility in total knee arthroplasty
- ExcelsiusFlex is developed for assistance in primary TKA for robotically guided resections on the basis of implant placement planning. It offers multiple workflows, jig-less resections, and streamlined software for efficient procedures
- The ACTIFY 3D System offers a diverse suite of implants and instruments for different patient needs. It is developed to integrate the strength and a porous lattice interface for cementless fixation
